Appointments available

To ensure you are making the most of the resources available you can book an appointment with the School Liasion Librarian by email library@itsligo.ie

Off campus access to databases

You will be prompted to sign in when accessing the electronic resources off-campus or if you are using your own WiFi hotspot on campus. 

Use your college email address  and your college password.

If you run into problems the easiest  fix  is:

  • Change browser to Firefox or Chrome
  • Delete Cookies 
  • Use a personal device and not a workplace one. 

User education

Any of the guides provided on Yeats Library website are relevant to all registered students, as all our students access library resources from off campus.

 

We have some additional services for Online students:

  • At any stage make an appointment with a school liaison librarian. We can help you in person, over the phone or by email.
  • Library staff will also invite you to join Google hangouts during the year - feel free to make this request for yourself or your class.
  • We can record tutorials according to your specific query and provide tuition live on lin eor over the phone

Post grad student guide

Login to Access Resources

When accessing Library resources you will be prompted to logon using your IT Sligo email address and college logon eg studentnumber@mail.itsligo.ie

 

Postal loan service

We can post books from the Main Collection to Online Learners who live outside Sligo. 

  • Check EOLAS to see if the book is available.
  • If the book is on loan to another user you can reserve it through your Library Account.
  • To borrow, email with the details and your postal address.

Books can be borrowed for three weeks. They can be renewed for a further three weeks online through your Library Account, by email or by phone.

It is your responsibility to return the the book in person or by post using this address:
