Conference proceedings are the collections of papers that are presented at conferences, they may be published in book format, as special issues of a journal, or as a serial. They can be difficult to find and sometimes not all of the paper is published.
Some proceedings may be freely available online. Try searching for the title as a phrase using quotation marks("). Many organizations have details of past and future conferences on their website. Sometimes the full text of previous conferences is available.
A citation for a conference paper will look something like:
Smierzchalski, R. 2008. “Simulation System for Marine Engine Control Room.” Paper presented at International Biennial Baltic Electronic Conference, Tallinn, Estonia, October 6-8.
If you are unable to locate the paper after searching the library resources, try searching Worldcat
Copy your citation details into our online request form and submit your conference proceedings request.
