Theses and Dissertation Search

Theses or Dissertation

EThOS

EThOS is the British Library's database of UK theses. There are approximately 400,000 records relating to theses awarded by over 120 institutions. Around 160,000 of these also provide access to the full text thesis, either via download from EThOS directly or via links to the institution's own repository. Search here for theses before making a request as you may be able to access them directly from EThOS

Rian

Rian provides a single point of access to Irish research publications. It is possible to both search and browse content and it provides analysis which can be useful for identifying research trends.

Research@THEA

Research@THEA is an open access repository which contains research material from the Institutes of Technologies.

OpenDOAR

OpenDOAR provides a quality-assured listing of open access repositories around the world

OpenDissertations

EBSCO Open Dissertations is a collaboration between EBSCO and BiblioLabs to increase traffic and discoverability of ETD research. You can join the movement and add your theses and dissertations to the database, making them freely available to researchers everywhere while increasing traffic to your institutional repository.

Printed Thesis

A requested thesis that arrives in hardcopy cannot be taken out of the library. However you can consult it as many times as you like during the loan period.
