EBSCO Academic Collection has about 160,000 ebooks for you to use day or night anywhere you are. You can download , print and even highlight them! Best of all, it's really easy to export the citations to referencing software like endnote web.
We also have a growing collection of ebooks that have been specially selected by librarians and your lecturers for your modules, and they are core texts on your reading lists and we will include them on your subject pages.
Some of our other library databases like Academic Source Complete and Business source complete have a number of ebooks even though they are not typical "ebook databases". There are also some fantastic open access ebooks include details in Eolas such as those from Openstax.
The ebooks all have different licences , much the same as when you buy digital music, so the amount you can print, or how long you can downloaded for differs from title to title. When you are in the ebook record the system will explain the limits, and if you get stuck just ask us. If there is a book that you would especially like to see in ebook format please let us know.
The ebooks are all mobile friendly, the websites being responsive, but EBSCO does have an ebook app available for their academic collection, just click the mobile app link at the very bottom of the webpage and a link and instructions will be sent to your email.
Happy reading!!
